Where does the name "The Odd Sparrow" come from?

According to A.T. Pierson , an American Presbyterian pastor in the 1800's, a little boy in Spain reported that his conversion to Christianity was because of the "odd sparrow." He said, "Jesus knew the customs of our town. Two sparrows are sold for one chico, but for two chicos you receive five sparrows. I am like that 'odd' sparrow--small and of little worth. Yet Jesus said that not one of them is forgotten before God."

We are a small home-based business owned and operated by Carolyn Kocman, specializing in a wide variety of cottage and shabby chic decor items. With a vast array of goods ranging from pillows and crocheted clothing to candles and sachets, we have whatever you're looking for to make your home special. Because we craft each item individually, we see them all as works of art--guaranteeing you're purchasing products of the highest quality.

Shipping Policy

I am happy to combine shipping on multiple items purchased at the same time. I will refund any difference on your paypal account.

Please note that my shipping estimates are based on flat rate boxes by USPS. If I am able to ship for a lesser amount, I will go ahead and do so and refund you the difference on paypal.

I will ship within a week of your purchase unless otherwise specified. Shipping is usually USPS or UPS at my discretion.

The shipping charges indicated are for THE CONTIGUOUS CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY. All others will receive a separate charge for the difference in shipping to your location outside of the United States, or in Alaska, Hawaii, or other US territories.
